Spring Break
A friend just sent this photo from Kensington, Maryland (near DC) with the message that the temperature is dropping to 21 and snow is coming. So I thought I'd attach this message to the photo:
A beautiful photograph with cherry blossoms and forsythia.
Cherry blossoms and forsythia are crowding ahead in line for their season.
They do not realize that cold and snow will fight for the lead
And soon push them shivering to the back of the line.
They’ve been warned in years past
Not to accelerate spring break.
Winter goes first.
No springing forward until early Sunday morning.
