Failed Relationships

Older woman in Ierissos, Greece - photo by Margaret Holt

I like considerations of the science of intuition. I like it when highly quantitative perspectives or highly qualitative perspectives undergo transformation finding rapture through the unused lens. I wish our leaders could stop courting ignorance and teaching fear. Somehow their capacities to recognize patterns and do thin-slicing that is fast and frugal in the universal petri dish is dangerously flawed. They lack an adaptive unconscious and appear to have failed life’s course in relationships. How IT ALL TURNS OUT rests on our belief in the possibility of lifelong learning. Will they find a quiet time and space to listen to and come to know their own breathing? MHolt
