Summer Journal 2012, August 18

I don't have any photos for the journal today because last night I made a movie rather than take still photos.  The occasion was a big party here at Stavraqu with all these people:  Despina, Kostas, Maria, Vegalis, Vassilis, Anna, Ireni, Aggelos, Kostas (Demetra's son), Stellios Foras, Katerina Foras, Georgia, Gregrois, Natasa, Jaiden, Alexander, Carrie, Paris, Stellios and moi.  People brought so much food that we could have fed the Greek Army.  We had lots of leftovers of desserts, pitas, and beyond - so we really enjoyed a breakfast with so many treats from last night.  Tonight Katerina and Stellios are supposed to return with a fish dinner.  Thank goodness we have long hours to work off the calories in the sea.  Jaiden especially will be sad this afternoon, because her several cousins have returned to Thessaloniki.  She fell asleep last night before they left, also Alexander, Vegalis and Vassilis were conked out.  When I'm home, I'll post the movie of the event on YouTube.
